Reese Witherspoon took her career seriously following her first enrollment in Stanford University. Early successes in the field of critical success included parts in movies like Pleasantville and Election however it was her role as Elle Woods in the box office smash Legally Blonde that marked a turning point in her career. Her first year out of high school Witherspoon thought about quitting acting in order to join her parents in the medical field. Alongside her acting career her appearances in films such as The Dictator or The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. She is a talented artist, and has also exhibited in several galleries.
