Anna Paquin is a Canadian as well as a New Zealand actress. Paquin was born in Wellington but was born and raised in Winnipeg was first seen in the acting world as a character in The Piano. At age 11 years old, she became the youngest Academy Award winner ever for Best Actress. Anna Paquin full name Anna Helene Paquin, born July 24 on the 24th of July in 1982 Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Paquin played a minor role in the movie's title character, when she was in the midst of her childhood in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre (1996) as well as an important role in the film Fly Away Home (1996). Paquin was Frankie Addams in a 1997 television movie adaptation of Carson McCullers's novel The Member of the Wedding and played the role as the queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (1997). She played teenagers as teenagers in Hurlyburly (1998) She's All That (1999) as well as A Walk on the Moon (1999) and played the groupie Polexia Aphrodisa as a character in Almost Famous (2000).
