Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin is a Canadian as well as a New Zealand actress. Paquin was born in Wellington but was born and raised in Winnipeg was first seen in the acting world as a character in The Piano. At age 11 years old, she became the youngest Academy Award winner ever for Best Actress. Anna Paquin full name Anna Helene Paquin, born July 24 on the 24th of July in 1982 Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian-born New Zealand actor who won the Academy Award as a youngster as Best Supporting Actress her role as the curious and sociable daughter of Holly Hunter's leading character on the film The Piano. In response to a public audition, aged nineteen, she was Flora McGrath - the daughter of the Scottish musician who was mute in the 19th century. She relocated in New Zealand to marry an arranged husband. At the age of 16 She moved from New Zealand to United States. Paquin played a minor role in the movie's title character, when she was in the midst of her childhood in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre (1996) as well as an important role in the film Fly Away Home (1996). Paquin was Frankie Addams in a 1997 television movie adaptation of Carson McCullers's novel The Member of the Wedding and played the role as the queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (1997). She played teenagers as teenagers in Hurlyburly (1998) She's All That (1999) as well as A Walk on the Moon (1999) and played the groupie Polexia Aphrodisa as a character in Almost Famous (2000).
