Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named their daughter on her home town. Their father Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder's dad came from an ethnically Jewish family. Ryder considers her self Jewish. Ryder has the title of being the younger sister of Uria and also has half-siblings Jubal & Sunyata. Ryder relocated with her family members to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. The family resided in an area without electric power. Ryder began to be a passionate read because they had no television. Ryder began to study acting at the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983 at the age of 12 years old. Her first role was a success on the big screen in the year 1986 after she turned 15 years aged. Ryder suffered from bullying in high school. Ryder was hopeful that her work as an actor would be able to help. Unfortunately, that did not happen. Still she continued pursuing her goals. In 1988, she received her big break in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder continued to play successful roles in several movies. She was nominated for two Academy Awards one for her role for her performance in The Age of Innocence (1993).
